Museum Services
The Local History Museum owned by the Municipality of Posio is located in the village of Lohiranta, on the shore of Kitkajärvi lake. The Municipality maintains the VirtuaaliPosio website, which provides information about the cultural history of Posio (in Finnish).

Lohiranta Local Museum
The Museum is open during the summer. There is an entrance fee to the Museum. To use the VirtuaaliPosio website, all you need is a working internet connection and a web browser.
