Sale and Rental of Plots +

You can buy or rent plots from the Municipality of Posio for housing, holiday housing and business purposes. Plots for detached houses are located in the central area of Posio and on the islet of Jakkarasaari, where the plots are located on a lake shore. Plots for holiday homes are located in the Kirintövaara area. Industrial plots are located in the Kotilampi area.

Plots for detached houses

There are plenty of plots available on Jakkarasaari, on the shores of Posionjärvi lake. The plots are located a few kilometres from the centre of Posio and cost €10,000 each.

There are no construction method guidelines for the area. At least X% of the building or buildings covered by the permit must be constructed within three years of the signing of the deed of sale.

The plot price includes the connection fees for the municipal water and sewerage network.

Holiday housing plots

There are holiday housing plots for sale in the Kirintövaara area. Plots are available from the foot of Kirintövaara fell to the very top, overlooking Kitkajärvi lake.

Plots in the Kirintövaara area range in price from €2,000 to €25,000. Kirintövaara has a good cross-country skiing network and a small downhill ski centre is open in late winter. The restaurant Kisura is located at Kirikeskus Wilderness Hotel.
