Low-threshold service point for immigrants in Posio 

The new integration law came into effect on January 1, 2025. According to the revised law, municipalities are required to provide low-threshold counseling and guidance to people who have moved to Finland from elsewhere. An immigrant can come to the service point with any problem, and they will be directed to the appropriate expert if necessary. The service point offers support for various issues, and the problem does not have to be related to immigration. 

The low-threshold service point is located in the Community and Coworking Space Tarmo’s Smartblock at Posiontie 44. The international and integration coordinator, Henna Vanninen, is available at the service point on last Wednesday of each month from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Matalan kynnyksen palvelupiste auttaa posiolaisia maahan muuttaneita 

Uusi kotoutumislaki on astunut voimaan 1. tammikuuta 2025. Uudistuneen lain mukaan kunnilla on velvollisuus järjestää matalan kynnyksen neuvontaa ja ohjausta Suomeen muualta muuttaneille. Maahan muuttanut voi saapua minkä tahansa ongelman kanssa palvelupisteelle, josta hänet ohjataan tarvittaessa eteenpäin oikealle asiantuntijalle. Palvelupisteeltä saa tukea moniin eri asioihin, eikä ongelman tarvitse olla maahanmuuttoon liittyvä. 

Matalan kynnyksen palvelupiste sijaitsee yhteisö- ja etätyötila Tarmon Smartblock-tilassa osoitteessa Posiontie 44. Kansainvälisyys- ja kotouttamiskoordinaattori Henna Vanninen on tavattavissa palvelupisteellä joka kuun viimeinen keskiviikko kello 12.30–15.30.
